Certificate in Leadership In a Catholic School
This certificate is designed for people in leadership or aspiring to leadership in Catholic integrated schools. It requires 64 hours of course attendance, 16 hours guided study (757.h Professional Project or 757.i Reading Project), plus 40 non-contact hours for personal study and assignments (1000 - 1200 words each). Please note that registration for these modules may be made online.

The following modules are offered for the Certificate in Leadership in a Catholic School. The Certificate may be begun at any stage, or modules can be taken on their own for interest.

249 Maori Theology & Spirituality

This module will introduce participants, through interaction and experience, to the basic concepts of Maori theology and spirituality.

This module will explore issues relating to the dynamics of leadership and the vision of a Catholic school.

Note - Catholic Character 1and 2 are being offered as one course on successive days in 2011

An investigation into shared leadership approach in the gospels and how that is demonstrated in Catholic Schools today.

An investigation into some models of leadership and the ways in which situations can often determine the use of a particular Leadership approach.

This course is not offered in 2011



757.d LCS: Faith Development

This module will explore Faith Development theory and its implication for the school curriculum. This module may be cross-credited into the Certificate in Religious Education and Leadership in a Catholic School.
