733.f Spiritual and Practical Formation for Lay Leaders of Prayer

(Liturgy Centre, 10 hours)
An introduction to the ministry of liturgical prayer when prayer is led by lay people who gather for worship in the absence of an ordained priest. This module uses "Faithful in the Word" as its focus. Enrolment must be accompanied by a letter of approval from parish priest, parish council or liturgy committee.

733.g Forming a Parish Liturgy Committee

(Liturgy Centre, 8 hours)
An exploration of the need and call for a liturgy committee in each parish, and the roles and responsibilities that this ministry calls forth, so that the liturgy may become the font from which all the church's life flows.

733.h Planning and Leading Music for Parish Liturgies

(CIT, 8 hours)
This module will introduce musicians, singers, music and liturgy planners to sound precepts of liturgical music planning and congregational music leadership. Participants will learn to use appropriate rationales for choosing music, and they will be introduced to new music and how to plan music for Sundays, feasts and seasons.
