Faith touches all areas of life.  The social, political and economic aspects of our shared life are no exception.  As Catholics we are called to work for greater justice.  Linking Faith and Life provides a way of approaching this important ministry.

This module presents an overview of the major world religions of East and West, and in particular, of the presence of believers of these religions in New Zealand.  It will also examine ways the church invites us to be involved in inter-religious dialogue in educational and pastoral settings.

What is the essence of being Catholic?  What is faith?  Why have beliefs?  Who is the God in whom we believe?  What difference do Jesus and the Holy Spirit make?  Why belong to church?  What is our mission?  How do sacraments bring life?  What about church structures?  Participants will explore these and their own questions.
