We at the Catholic Institute of Theology welcome you. Our Institute offers not only a warm welcome but also a friendly and stimulating environment in which Catholics and people of all traditions can explore their faith together. We welcome you to CIT's home at Newman Hall, and equally to our courses taught at St Columba Centre in Ponsonby and in various parishes and schools throughout the Auckland diocese.

We offer a range of programmes, from basic introductory courses for those who have not done any study since school, through diploma courses to degree level study. There is something for everyone who wishes to deepen his or her understanding. Our staff are well qualified in their fields and keep up to date through reading and research.
